In other words it could be from your mouth or from your digestive area. The universal truth is that no matter how much you floss, brush, or gargle that which causes bad breath will still be there. Whats the main culprit in both of these cases? Bacteria. Or moreover, the waste that is produced by bacteria. Anaerobic sulfur-producing bacteria. Are there food that can cure bad breath?

1. Fresh herbs work wonders. Mint, parsley and rosemary can work wonders with your breath. Chew them for a quick, sugar free clean breath, or make a herbal drink by soaking the leaves in hot water. Fantastic for the digestive track! Parsley has a lot of  chlorophyll, which is a natural way of getting the body to remove toxins that cause bad breath. Herbs can cure bad breath in the two main areas that cause it – the mouth and the stomach.

2. Produce more saliva, and flush away plaque buildup, with the help of crunchy tasting fruits and vegetables such as  apples, carrots and celery. But it’s not just the crunchy ones that will help. Kiwi, papaya, pineapple, and green leafy vegetables have  enzymes that promote in the production of  a healthy digestion.

3. Eat fruits that are high in vitamin C. Berries and citrus fruits reduce bacteria growth in the mouth. By eating berries, citrus fruits and melons you can also prevent gingivitis, which does cause halitosis. After dinner do you need to mask that onion or garlic breath? Sucking on a lemon with salt will get rid of that in no time!

That is caused by dry mouth because when we sleep we do not produce as much saliva, and dead cells build up on the tongue. Solution? Clean your tongue and teeth before bed and drink some water as soon as you wake up.
